Parents’ birth and marriage dates seem inconsistent with her birth date. Perhaps the parents have been confused with others of similar names?

I've looked through Ancestry.com's records and can find nothing to verify that Daniel and Elizabeth (nee Cartley) were Rebecca's parents. Another search, of compiled genealogies on Google, showed that there were two Holeman families who lived in the Shenandoah Valley simultaneously and who used similar given names; I couldn't find anything to show a Rebecca Holeman who married a William Cathey and who was born any time around 1749. I've detached Holeman-54 from previously stated parents Holeman-489 and Cartley-1. Perhaps someone can find contemporary documents to verify who Rebecca (Holeman) Cathey's parents actually were.
My grandmother's records have William Cathey's wife as Rebecca Love, not Holeman. We have no evidence for Rebecca Love, so I'm not suggesting a correction, but there is a solid argument that Rebecca who married William Cathey was not Rebecca Holeman, or at least not the Rebecca Holeman of Shenandoah, Virginia, who married an entirely different William Cathey: http://www.martygrant.com/genealogy/cathey/cathey-william-haywood.htm

Please check your records, as the mother's death date is before the birth of this child. Thanks for your help in improving Wikitree.
