I was born in Oak Park, Illinois to Joseph Tullie Holleman (US Naval Academy graduate and later engineer for US Civil Service) and Adele McKey Holleman (Johns Hopkins graduate and registered nurse and later stay at home mother). We lived in Tennesseee, Arkansas, Rome Italy, Indiana, and finally since 1961 South Carolina.

I have three siblings - Sarah (medical doctor) who has a son Andy (computer professional in California) and Marie (nurse in Tennessee), Joey (editor/writer for State newspaper) who has a daughter Chris (graduate student at MUSC) and son Jon (student at USC), and Peggy (retired office manager).

I have two sons - Trey (lives in California) and Todd (lives near Charleston SC). Todd (a waiter) has two sons - August born in 2011 and Mylo born in 2012.

My career has included teaching math and computer science at the high school and college level, computer programming, systems analysis, database management, technical support, and technical training. I currently work at Clemson University where I do technical training in Windows, Office, Google Apps for Education, Cloud Services, and a variety of other topics.
