  1. 1.0 1.1 based on two sources' dates: Jan. 8, 1694/5 and Feb. 8, 1694, datafield shows Feb. 8, 1695 - in William Penn's America of 1695, the first month would have been February, and the WikiTree convention is to use the "modern" year: e.g., 1695 when the date is written 1694/5 (which cannot be entered in the date field). The 1694/5 usage is because "old style" dating had January and February at the end of 1694 and "new style" at the beginning of 1695. (For more information, see Sue Roe's The Problem of Dates.)

  3. from Source #S381: Grace Cook, b. 1673, Concord,PA; d. after 2 May 1741, exact date not known. (text for S381 included "ref: 250, shows birth date as 1691 (seems too late!)" and "ref: 298, p. 7 Gives birthyear as 1658.")

  11. #S381 also had text saying "Arrived in America on the WELCOME, with William Penn; place of death Winchester Co., VA" but both statements appeared to be in reference to her father, although the text also had that her father died in New Castle, Delaware
