Biography

Thomas Hollis was enumerated at Cross Keys Township, Unionville Post Office, Union County, South Carolina for the August 31, United States Census, 1870. He was noted as born 1850-1851 in South Carolina and working on farm. He is marked as not being able to read or write as seen in this image of the original census. Also included in the household are male Wesley Hollis, female Caroline Hollis, female Jane Hollis, female Petine Hollis, female Alice Hollis, male Dogan Hollis and male Joe Lamb.[1]
