Penelope was the daughter of David Hollister and Charity UNKNOWN. She married Noah Tryon before 1738. Her gravestone says she was aged 78 years at death.

He married Penelope Hollister, date not known. She was born in 1718, and died at Glastonbury, Conn., Dec. 7, 1797, aged 79 years. Noah also died at Glastonbury on Oct. 4, 1758, in his 46th year. Seven children are recorded: Penelope 4.13a, Jemima 4.13b, David 4.13c, Hannah 4.13d, Hannah 4.13e, Elizur 4.13f, David 4.13g.
