Biography
Charles was born in 1845. He was the son of Major Daniel Holloway and Jane Penny. Birth year is based on Census estimations. No other source has been found.
Charles first appears on the 1850 Census at age 5. He is living with his family in Dutch, Granville, North Carolina.
There is NO mention of Charles with the family on the 1860 Census. He would have been 15. This writer is assuming that he has died, but no source has been found to confirm.[1]
