Biography

Marion Francis Holloway also appears as Francis Marion Holloway on various census records. The earliest usage is recorded on the 1870 US Census as Marion F Holoway. He has an older sister, Francis Holoway, to add to the confusion. The same naming convention appears in the 1880 US Census.

From the death certificate of Perry Morgan Holloway and the 1900 US Census, we see that Francis Marion Holloway married Mattie Frances Holsonback (b. Sept. 1877, GA.) in 1898. ^[1] Perry Morgan Holloway was born 3 Apr 1913, Wilkes County, GA; died 18 Oct 1964, Greenwood, South Carolina.

From a double headstone ^[2] Martha H Holloway died in 1915 and Francis M Holloway died in 1936. They are buried in Loco Baptist Church Cemetery, Lincoln County, Georgia, along with three of their sons.
