In 1813, as stated before, David Elder married Elizabeth Allen, and we will now proceed to give the history of the three daughters by his last marriage. They were: Sarah Elder, Ermine Elder and Ann Elder. Sarah (or Sallie) married James Holloway; he was a brother of Malinda Holloway, the first wife of Doctor W. Elder Sr. They moved to Texas before the war of 1861 to 1865, and died and were buried there near Longview.

Children of Sarah have been summarized from the book:
