Phebe, or Phoebe, Holloway was born about 1720. She was the daughter of John Holloway and Hannah Spiers. Phebe's place of birth is difficult to determine. Her parents may have been living on Occupacia Creek in Essex Co. c1720. But they may also have moved about the same time to the Massaponax Creek area of Spotsylvania Co. (formed 1721).
Phebe married John Bradley, probably around 1740 in Caroline County, Virginia. They moved to Cumberland Co., probably around 1745, when her father and siblings made the same move. They lived in the area of Soak Arse Creek (now Bonbrook Creek) SW of today's community of Ashby, VA.
The last record known for Phebe involved her husband's estate in 1783, in Cumberland Co.
