Elizabeth Holmes was born February 18, 1751, the daughter of Peleg Holmes and Abigail Bradford of Kingston, Plymouth, Massachusetts[1][2][3]
In 1762, she moved to Yarmouth Nova Scotia with her family[2][3][4]
On August 5, 1779, in Tisbury, she married James Winslow[5][3]. He was the widower of Rhoda Chase, and son of James and Susan (Conant) Winslow of Middleborough[2]. Their children included[2][6]:
Elizabeth (Holmes) Winslow died July 2, 1809[6][2]
