Biography

Rose Helena "Lena" Holmes (married name Stielow) was born on 18 March 1885 in Poowong, Victoria, Australia, the daughter of Laurence Carter Holmes and Emma Holmes.[1]

She married Franz Stielow on 28 December 1910 in Gisborne, Victoria.[2] Their children were:

Lena died from pneumonia on 9 August 1913 at the Royal Women's Hospital in Carlton, Victoria, aged 28.[5][6] Her remains were interred in Korumburra, Victoria, in the Korumburra Cemetery, Section y Allotment 76.
