UNCONFIRMED information: Job Holmes Sr. was born 27 May 1728 in Plymouth, Plymouth County, Massachussets, USA. His parents are Eleazer Holmes of Plymouth, Massachusetts and Hannah Sylvester. He married Mehitable Stewart on 7 Mar 1752 in Sandwich, Barnstable County, Massachusetts, USA. He died 4 Oct 1800 in Hebron, Oxford County, Maine, USA. He and Mehitable had ten children including Capt. James Holmes who married Jerusha Rawson. [1]
