Benjamin was born in 1779. He was the son of Charles Holmes and Mary Foster. He married (1st) 20 May 1803, Martha Stewart of Altrest, Donagheady, by whom he had ten children, and (2ndly) Margaret King, by whom he had no issue. He passed away in 1868.[1][2][3][4]
