Biography
David was born in 1871 in Ballylumford, Islandmagee, County Antrim, Ireland, the son of Nathaniel Holmes and Jane English.[1]
In 1893 he married Isabella Jane Montgomery in 1st Carrickfergus Presbyterian Church. He was a farmer from Islandmagee and she was also from Islandmagee. The witnesses were Robert Holmes and Maggie Montgomery.[2]
