Biography

John, son of Joseph and Rebecca (Waterman) Holmes, was born in Kingston, MA on January 14, 1751. He was a master mariner and died at the age of 22 in Virginia on March 22, 1772. A memorial stone was installed at Old Burying Ground in Kingston.
