Note N9Marjorie and Harry had a farm across from Limuru railway station. 31 Oct 1969 owned land (Tigoni/Limuru LR No 5985/5 - 1397 acres) south east of Limuru township in Ngecha, Kiambu. Kenya Gazette reference 21 Sep 1979 LR No 1938/1. Marjorie worked for Dalgety and Co Ltd, PO Box 96, Nairobi for most of her life and got a pension from them. In 19389 she won the Irish sweepstake (1 of 10 shares) circa 1936 and bought the farm at Limuru. She stayed on in Kenya into the 1990s. Her ashes were buried at Limuru All Saints with Harry in 1999 on a trip back by her daughter Barbara. 1
