Cousin Bob: I have read the letters my sister had, they are: 1) Date 1855 addressed to Mistress Martha Holt/Dear Sister from Samuel Jenkins, mentions: sister Nancy,Dollie,John,Moses,and old uncle Thomas Young. 2) Date 1862 sent from camp Taylor, 18th regiment Va. Vol. detailing camp life from Joseph l. Jenkins 3) Date 1870 addresses to James Holt, a love letter from Bettie Jenkins, mentions at bottom "burn this letter as soon as you read it" it wasn't burnt. Would like to get copies of these letters to you. Thank-you, Gordon Lockett.... (these letters were in my Granmothers Martha Francis Lockett posessions probably from Alphus Lockett son of Penelope Holt.)
Cousin Bob: My sister has two letters from civil war soldiers addressed to Mary, I will see them next week, They might of been addressed to Mary Wesley were any of her brothers in the civil war? Thank-you, Gordon Lockett

After looking at several other genealogy sites, I have been unable to find any Holts that can help with this tree. It dead ends with Clemmons Holt, b 1796 in England, comes to America ca 1820, marries in Virginia. Hope someone here can help.
