Research Notes
The find-a-grave memorial for Anthelia Holt Robinett indicates that: Anthelia Holt was the daughter of Alpheus Holt and Mary Ann Blankenship. She was born Nov 28 ,1861 in Matoaca, Virginia. She was the wife of Marshall O. Robinette. Sons were Herman, Richard, Andrew and Otis. One daughter Lois.
Records indicate that the parents listed for Anthelia are correct;[1][2] but it is unlikely that she is the mother of the children listed on her memorial. She is the second wife of Marshall Robinett and it is believed that he had the children listed on Find-a-Grave with his first wife; Cornelia Susan Bowman Robinett (see her find-a-grave memorial: 195202548). Marshall is listed with Cornelia and four of the children mentioned on Find-a-Grave on the 1900 Census.[3] A marriage record is needed for his marriage to Anthelia but it was likely sometime between 1903-1907. He is listed with Anthelia on the 1910 Census[4] and the 1920 Census.[5]
