Biography
Alfred George Holt was born in 1868 in Kew, Victoria, Australia, the son of Ellen (Giddens) Holt and William Holt.[1]
He married Agnes McLeod Cottam in 1903 in Kew Victoria.[2] Their children were:
- Gordon Ernest Holt (1905–1964)[3]
- Elizabeth Beryl Holt (1906–1992)[4]
- Harold Lindsay Holt (1908–1996)[5]
- George McLeod Holt (1912–1971)[6]
Agnes died in 1912.[7]
Alfred remarried in 1913 in Victoria, to Mary Anne Cottam (Agnes's sister).[8]
Alfred died on 16 September 1945 in Kew East, aged 77 years.[9][10]
