Born 21 May 1842, baptised st Peter's Campbelltown on 24 July 1842, parents Joseph Harrison Holt and Elizabeth Holt nee Webster.

Marriage 1) 1 December 1863 Thomas was a stockman when he married Hester Louisa Vile at the Wesleyan Parsonage at Mudgee. They had a son, John Walter Holt born 27 Sep 1864 Coonabarabran NSW. Hester died 1874 Gulgong NSW.

Marriage 2) 1876 to Elizabeth Stewart. They had 9 children. Elizabeth died 1935 Botany (burial C of E Botany)

Moved from Gulgong to Penrith area then Chippendale then Botany.

Death 1914 at Botany, buried Congretional Cemetery Rookwood. He had been employed as a van driver.
