Horace was born in July of 1887 in Chesterfield County, Virginia to William Henry Holt and Mary Elizabeth Jenkins Holt.[1][2] He is listed with his parents on both: the 1900 Census[3] and the 1910 Census.[4] On December 27, 1916 he married Helen Branch Green in Petersburg, Virginia.[5] The couple are listed together on the 1930 Census.[6] He passed away on November 19, 1968 at the age of 81 in Chesterfield County, Virginia.[7] He is buried in Blandford Cemetery in Petersburg, Petersburg City, Virginia.[8]
