There is also a record of marriage between Mary Holyoke, b. July 3, 1741, daughter of Jacob and Susannah [Martyn] Holyoke to James Sherman on July 11, 1769 in Boston.
"A volume of records relating to the early history of Boston" lists the marriage of "Samuel Sherman & Mary Holyoke (Int. reads [James])" on July 11, 1769.
