Biography

Leslie was born on 5 March 1912 in the Greenwich area, London, England.^[1] His parents were Anthony Henry William Hooker and Marian Flora (Redford) Chambers.

His first marriage was to Selina Eliza Long in Westminster in 1938.^[2]

In the 1945 electoral register for Bexley, Leslie and Selina were living at 24, Kimberley Drive, Bexley, Kent.

Leslie subsequently married for the second time to Florence May Cheeseman.^[3] It was also a second marriage for Florence.

Leslie passed away in 1977 in Bournemouth, Dorset, England.^[4]
