Biography

Mary was born in Lingfield, Surrey and was christened at St Peter and St Paul Lingfield on 21st January 1800 as the daughter of Thomas and Mary Hooker.^[1]

On 8th September 1822 at St John the Baptist Puttenham, Mary married Henry Ades, they both signed the register and their witnesses were John Hooker, Rebecca Cook, Mary Collins and Henry Collins.^[2]

Mary died, aged 89, in April 1889 ^[3] at 121 Queens Road, East Grinstead and she was buried at St Swithun, East Grinstead on 20th April 1889.
