John James Hopper was born in Georgia in 1800. He married Mary Self in Jefferson, Alabama on Sept 8, 1821. He died in 1865 IN Cleburne County, AL. [1]

Hooper-78 and Hopper-3114 appear to represent the same person because: These are the same person, and according to various records, including the headstone, it looks like the spelling should be Hopper, not Hooper.
