Mrs. Iona Bodle of Weiser Dies
DEATH: WEISER (Special) — Mrs. Iona M. Bodle, 66, resident of Weiser for two and a half years, died Thursday morning at the farm home of a sister, Mrs. John A. Kilpatrick, following an extended period of failing health. Mrs. Bodle was born March 10, 1885, at Polo, Ill.She taught school in Illinois for many years and prior to taking up residence here had lived in Elkhart, Ind., for 29 years. She was a member of the United Evangelical church, the Order of Eastern Star, the Order of White Shrine and the Daughters of the American Revolution, all of Elkhart. Survivors include three sisters, Mrs. John A. Kilpatrick, Weiser, Mrs. R. T. Spray, Boise, and Mrs. H. L. Monzingo, Tacoma; a brother, John Hoover, Council; six nieces and one nephew. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Hillcrest in Weiser with the Rev. Hubert Bahr officiating. Arrangements are being made by Northam-Jones chapel.
