Mrs. Cook, 86, formerly of Pittsburgh and Hollidaysburg, died at 8:15 pm Tuesday Sept 22, 1992, at Valley View Home, following an extended illness. Mrs. Cook retired as a certified public accountant from Dermont and Williams Buick Dealership Pittsburgh. She was born Oct. 16, 1905 in Hastings, the daughter of Frank and Rose (Yeager) Hoover. She married Dr. J. Lowman Cook on April 23, 1940 in Pittsburgh. He died Oct 3, 1958. Surviving are a sister and three brothers; Agnes Leckie of Washington DC, F. Blair of Hollidaysburg, Matthew of Altoona and Donald of McKeesport, and a number of nieces and nephews. Mrs. Cook graduated of Hastings High School and Indiana Normal School.
