See the problems with Damaris UNK to married UNK Shattuck (with UNK birth date and place and UNK death date and place).

See note below abt error with her death date of 28 Sept 1674.

SHATTUCK -- THE MIND-NUMBING POST http://boards.ancestry.com/surnames.shattuck/456/mb.ashx

This is the best source for Damaris UNK from original research by Lemuel Shuttuck: See page 361 at http://tinyurl.com/ShattuckBook (error in her 2nd husband's death date on that page).

The mother of Samuel Shattuck didn't die Sept. It was an indexer error on Mass Vitals because they didn't know what

28; 9m: 1674 meant.

We have no maiden name for her or 1st name for her husband. There is no record of a Daniel. One lady who had been one of the first on the internet to have him checked her notes and said she'd probably scribbed Damaris and it ened up as Daniel.

She got stuck into the Mayflower family because Stephen of the Mayflower had one or two daughters named Damaris and someone figured it would be nice to have a Mayflower Connection. We have no idea what her last name is. Sibley isn't working either and her birth date is at least 20 years to early.

Here's what is known about her and son Samuel (1620-1689) starting page 361 http://tinyurl.com/ShattuckBook
