Hazel Agussie Hopkins was born in Tay, Ontario on December 30, 1897^[1]. She was the daughter of Edwin Joseph Hopkins and Ellie Kenyon.

Hazel married Harold Dickie in Vancouver, British Columbia on December 20, 1916^[2]. At the time of their marriage, Hazel's occupation was listed as "Waitress".

At the time of the 1921 Canada Census, Harold, Hazel, Earl, and Leslie Dickie were listed as living in Chilliwack, British Columbia, along with Hazel's mother Ellie Hopkins^[3].

Hazel died in Chilliwack, British Columbia on February 23, 1990^[4].
