DNA Connections
It may be possible to confirm family relationships with Elizabeth by comparing test results with other carriers of her ancestors' mitochondrial DNA.
However, there are no known mtDNA test-takers in her direct maternal line.
It is likely that these autosomal DNA test-takers will share some percentage of DNA with Elizabeth:
I see that you just did the Pre-1700 Self-Certification. That's great! Also noticed you made 1474 contributions to Wikitree, thank you!!
You may want to add some tags on your page indicating a family name for one tag and a specific location like (country) or ( state) for another tag and then add other surnames or locations as tags as desired. That way you will be connected to others with the same interest.

Elizabeth, there are several Ash men in Charles County, Md. Are they relatives of ours? Thomas Ash married Anne Mackhorn/McHon, daughter of Robert. I think there was a Richard who arrived Charles Co. early. What is relationship of William to our Charles?
Actually the Wanner line comes in farther back on my paternal biological line (and I only know this thanks to FindaGrave.com at first, then once I got an ancestry membership, I found out more from there.
But it was after I joined this site that I decided it would be a good idea to have an email account just for ancestry/genealogical purposes - so I add to the site under my adoptive profile for ALL my families. :>
First, for profiles of living persons, click the privacy tab, check the red lock, then scroll down and save. WikiTree really cares about privacy.
Second, enter at least a death or birth date and place for each profile. If you don't know the exact date, estimate using the 'before' or 'after' option. When you search for duplicates, you'll understand why. Many haven't done this which makes matching much more difficult.
Third, try to document and include the source of the document for each profile you create, especially when you get further back in your ancestry.
This will take time, but it's a good goal to work toward and will make much sturdier branches for the worldwide tree.
