Elizabeth Hopkins was christened on March 13, 1604 in Hursley, Hampshire, England. She was the oldest child of Stephen Hopkins and his 1st wife, Mary (Kent) Hopkins. They had married on May 9, 1599, at London but also had property in Hampshire, apparently their home county. Hursley Manor was owned by Mary Kent's family and rented by Stephen & Mary in the 1st years of their marriage.
Little is known of Elizabeth Hopkins' life and she did not emigrate to America on the Mayflower with her father, step-mother, Elizabeth (Fisher) Hopkins (Mary (Kent) Hopkins had died in 1613), or two younger siblings: Constance Hopkins and Giles Hopkins and half-sibling Damaris Hopkins. It is assumed she died between 1607 and 1620 in England.
NOTE: I have added Project Protection (Mayflower Project) to this profile so other parents are not substituted for those acknowledged by the best and most-recent research, as listed here in the Sources section. Chet Snow, descendant of Stephen Hopkins via Constance (Hopkins) Snow; 11 Sep. 2017.
