Stephen was a Constable and Truant Officer for Shippen Township. The Cameron County Museum is in Sterling Run, and they have a picture of Stephen Hopkins, with his handlebar mustache, black suit and vest in their display, looking very much like Wyatt Earp. They also have his handcuffs and badge in a display case in the back room .The Museum was the old School House. It was one of the first pre-made buildings of its time and was sold by Sears Co. This is located down in the country where the elk run wild and come right up to the cars.
