Biography
Nelson was born on 6 Jun 1833 in Clarence, Erie, New York. He was the son of Cyrus Hopkins and Charlotte (Bissell) Hopkins.
He married first Elizabeth L. Hoffman (1842 – 1873) on 6 Dec 1865.
He married second Sarah J. Richards (1852 – ) on 9 Jan 1875.
He died on 12 Feb 1909. He was buried in Oakwood Cemetery.[1]
