Biography

Ellen 'Nellie' Augusta Hopkins was born on 14 April 1840 to Caleb and Elizabeth (Dennis) Hopkins in the town of Griggsville, Illinois. She married Ebenezer Willey on 27 Aug 1861, likely in or near Springfield. She passed away on 29 Sept 1908 in Springfield, Illinois and is buried there at Oak Ridge Cemetery.
