Biography

Nathan was born in 1878. He is the son of Ambrose Hopkins and Martha Ellington. [1]

Nathan was a 'Bridge Inspector', living in Topeka, Kansas, when he registered for the WWI Draft.[2]

Nathan was still single, living as a boarder with the Petit family, when he was 41 years old, in 1920, in Topeka Kansas. He is listed as a 'Conductor' in the Bridge industry. No doubt, Nathan worked for one of the railroad companies.[3]

Still single, living with the Petit family in Topeka, Kansas, Nathan was working as a Foreman for a concrete company. Nathan probably had so much experience with inspecting bridges for the railroad he was hired by a concrete company.[4]

In 1942, Nathan Taylor Hopkins was 64, unemployed, and registered for the World War II Draft. At the time, he was living in Topeka, Kansas.[5]

On October 21, 1977, there was a 'life claim' made on Nathan T. Hopkins, born in Henry County, Missouri, on 22 Sep 1878. This could be the date of his death, as there are no other sources that I can find.[6]

Nathan Taylor Hopkins was never married.
