Biography
Marion Hopper was born on February 14, 1842[1] in Kentucky to Clemon and Icyphena Harper.[2]
According to the 1860 census, Marion lived with his parents and siblings in Mercer County, Missouri.[2]
Marion married Mary Laws in 1861 according to the 1900 census.[3]
According to the 1870 census, Marion lived with Mary and their children, Vandalia, William, Viola, and Venoria in Taney County, Missouri.[4]
According to the 1900 census, Marion lived with Mary and their children, John, Luritta, and Chesley in Payne County, Oklahoma.[3]
Marion died on July 18, 1918 in Beaver County, Oklahoma.[5]
He is buried in the Beaver Pioneer Cemetery in Beaver, Oklahoma.[6]
