Biography
Frederick Edward Horne was born on 27 January 1836, the son of Reverend William Horne and Elizabeth Busk. [1] He was christened on 18 April 1836 in Cheshunt, Hertfordshire, England. [2]
Like his father, Frederick became a Church of England clergyman. [3]
He married Augusta Fanny Astley Cooper, daughter of Sir Astley Paston Cooper, 2nd Bt. and Elizabeth Harriet Rickford, on 25 April 1865. [4]
He died on 11 February 1913 at age 77. The death was registered in the district of Stow, Suffolk. [5]
Probate was granted on 01 May 1913 in Suffolk. The beneficiaries named in the probate notice were three of his sons. [6]
Research Notes
No source has yet been found for the suggestion that Frederick died in London. It seems more likely that he died in Drinkstone, Suffolk.
