Notes
Thomas and Cielia (Vick) Horn also lived in the area of Wayne County that later was joined with Johnston, Edgecombe and Nash Counties to form Wilson County. His uncle was Jeremiah Horn and brother-in-laws were Exum Outland and David Bundy. He was a member of the Tar River Quaker Church. August 19, 1775 he was condemed because he married out of unity (non Quaker Service). On April 18, Thomas and his wife of Tar River requested a transfer to Great Contentney Monthly Meeting. It has been reported that his name was John Thomas Horn.
