Biography

His name was originally recorded with the Greek chi-rho as Xpopher Horner. First impression was the cleric was showing off his Greek learning. Then it slowly dawned on me that chi -rho is the Roman Catholic symbol for Christ (as in Christ-opher) and this was in the time of the reformation. Was the cleric leaving a symbol of his faith amidst a changing world, perhaps to make other catholic clerics aware that this was a friendly church by a swift glance at the records?
