Nancy (Horner) Crosby, the mother of George
A. Crosby, was a daughter of Jacob Horner, who founded the
Sandy Vale cemetery at Johnstown, and a granddaughter of Jacob
Horner, Sr. , who came to that section in the eighteenth century.
