Daughters of the American Revolution
John Horton is a DAR Patriot Ancestor, A203113.

Born: March 6, 1717/1718, Stafford County, Virginia.[1][2]John Horton, son of Hugh Horton and Elizabeth, shares the same birth date with his brother William Horton.[1]

Married: John Horton married Sarah Wheeler, "bef.18 Nov. 1761: bride dau.of Wm. Wheeler (d. WC 1762)".[3][4][5][6][7] [8]

Residence: Stafford County, Virginia.[6][9][3]

Death: A death or burial record cannot be located for John Horton, but the DAR database has it as September 10, 1792 with a location as Stafford County, Virginia.[2] His Will was proven at the September 1792 Term of the Stafford County Court.

Last Will & Testament: The Last Will and Testament of John Horton was proven at the September 1792 Term of the Stafford County, Virginia Court on the oath of Joseph Smith, Gent.[10] William Horton was appointed Executor at the October 1792 Term of Court.[11] The Inventory and Appraisment was approved at the May 1793 Term of Court.[12]
