On of dad's favorite stories was the telling of Wanda Horton Stroud. Late in the 1980's mom and dad went to visit them so dad could gather information about her and her family.
Just recently, 2014, I purchased a book called "Sparta, A Recent Legacy" by Wayne Glenn. In it was a picture when Wanda was a senior in Ozark High School. What a find!
