Biography

William was born in 1861 in Georgia. He was the son of G. W. Horton and Elizabeth (Troup) Horton.^[1]

In the 1880 census William (age about 19) was living in Irwin, Georgia, United States.^[1][2]

In the 1900 census Wm (age 39), Farmer, was the married head of household in Militia District 518, Irwin, Georgia.^[3]
