- Esther Hosford, daughter of Timothy Hosford of Canaan and his wife Ann Smithrem, was born at Canaan, Connecticut on December 26, 1754.[1]
Marriage
- Esther Hosford married Job Barnes, son of Gideon and Mehitable (Shaw) Barnes at Canaan on May 28, 1778.[1] They had four children, Job, Gideon, Polly, Esther.[1]
- Esther died 31 Aug 1806, and Job Barnes died 6 Oct 1826.[1]
