Biography
Robert Jones Hosie was born on June 26, 1844 in Largs, Ayrshire, Scotland, United Kingdom, son of Willaim Hosie (1817–1884).[1]
Robert married Helen Lonie (born on February 19, 1851 in Fife, Scotland; daughter of [father] and [mother]).
In 1851, Robert (7)'s occupation was 'scholar'. He was living in Cunningham, Ayrshire with his parents, William (35) and William (11); and Mary Hosie (35), David Hosie (5), Mary Hosie (3), and John Adam (23). [1]
Robert died on June 24, 1928 in Kew, Victoria, Australia, aged 83.
