Parents:
John Hoskins (1598 - 1648)
Anne Hoskins (1600 - 1662)
Spouse:
Isabel Brown Hoskins (1636 - 1698)*
Disputed Origins
"Older sources claim that... there were two more children [of John Hoskins]: Anthony Hoskins who married in 1656 and Rebecca who also married in 1656... Anthony and Rebecca were more likely his nephew and niece, or even totally unrelated."[1]. Anderson references research conducted by Genevieve Kiepura (TAG 30:191-192), Coddington (TAG 38:1-4) and Gerald J. Parsons (NEHGR 143:117-119) debunking the Anthony and Rebecca as children theory.
Recently the Hoskins DNA project has proven that Anthony Hoskins was indeed a Hoskins, meaning that he was either the son of John Hoskins or a close relative such as a nephew.[2]
Anthony moved to Windsor, CT about 1635 with his possible relation, John Hoskins.
Prob a nephew of John Hoskins of the John and Mary.
