The dates here are problematic. If Jane Hoskins was born in 1671 and Isabel/Jesabel Brown Hoskins died in 1698, then Isabel is not her mother. But, none of these dates appear reliable.
Jane married Jeremy Alford. The couple had up to nine children:[2]
Children:
Benedict, b. April 27, 1688;
Newton, b. March 24, 1689-90;
Jeremiah, b. May 8, 1692;
Jonathan, b. March 4, 1691, d. July 14, 1700;
Jane, b. Jan. 14, 1698-9;
Joanna b. March 1, 1701-2 ;
Elizabeth, b. Nov, 22, 1703, d. Jan. 10, 1703-4 ;
Elizabeth 2d, b. April 27, 1706 ;
Job, b. Aug. 26, 1708.
Jane's husband Jeremy Alvord died in 1709. She was the administratrix of his estate. [3][4]
Jane (Hoskins) died May 19, 1715 in Windsor, Hartford County, Connecticut.
