Hi, Yes Miriam Wood married John Hotchkiss on 10 March 1719 in Wallingford. https://familysearch.org/ark:/61903/3:1:3Q9M-CS56-2SCR-H?cc=2843390 Please not the record itself does not say she was born in 1712. If she were born in 1712 she would only be age 7 when she married. Please see: https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Wood-7242 Miriam Wood d/o Richard was born 10 Dec 1700 https://familysearch.org/ark:/61903/3:1:3Q9M-CS56-29R5-P?cc=2843390

According to the find a grave profile Miriam was not the daughter of John Hotchkiss and Mary Chatterton. She was the daughter in law. Since I am descended from Abel Sperry this is an important point. Am I descended from the Hotchkiss family or from the Wood family. I’d love some input.

Miriam Wood (1700-1765) m. 1719 John Hotchkiss [Wallingford Vital Records]]

This person Miriam Hotchkiss (b. 1712) m. Abel Sperry in 1730. They are two separate people with different birth dates and different parents, not the same person as implied by the FindAGrave memorial. Note that some of the children overlap so they can't be the same person.

Please note the death date given on this profile 10 Jan 1765 is for Miriam Hotchkiss wife of Capt John Hotchkiss. This woman would not have been buried as a Hotchkiss but as a Sperry.
