Elizabeth Howe was born in England, the daughter of Abraham Howe and his first wife (name unknown), shortly before her family came to New England about 1637. The family settled initially in Roxbury.[1]
Elizabeth married Edmund Parker in Roxbury on 31 May 1647.[1][2][3] They had children:
Elizabeth died 9 June 1657,[1] possibly in Lancaster, Massachusetts.
Her husband, Edmund Parker of Roxbury, left a will dated the third Monday of April 1692 and proved 8 June 1694 in Boston, Massachusetts. He left to his five children: "...all my lands and goods to be equally divided between them, that is to say Abraham, Elizabeth, Sarah, Esther and Deborah...". His "well beloved friends John Moore and Thomas Wilder Lieut., both of Nashaway" were to be whole and sole executors of his will. The will was witnessed by Phillip Searle, John Ruggles and John Mayo. An inventory of Edmund's estate was taken 28 May 1694 and totaled £31.[5] Elizabeth died in 1657 and was not mentioned in Edmund's will. Their daughter Mercy was not named in the will, so she was likely deceased by April 1692.
