Elisha was born in the 1670's, the son of Samuel Howe. The date of birth is uncertain, and it is unsure whether his mother was Samuel's first wife Martha Bent, who died in 1680 or his second wife Sarah Leavitt, the widow of Nehemiah Clapp, who he married in 1685. The differing sources are discussed in the Howe Genealogies.[1] He married 18 Aug. 1718, Hannah Shavally, daughter of Nicholas and Rebecca Shavally of Concord, Mass.,
born 17 Feb. 1688-9, died 30 Jan. 1757. He died 16 Dec.
1753, In the settlement of his estate there were mentioned
sons: John, Samuel and Leavitt, and daughters; Rebecca, wife
of Samuel Frost ; Hannah, wife of Joseph Gibbs, and Sarah
Howe.

It may be possible to confirm family relationships with Elisha by comparing test results with other carriers of his Y-chromosome or his mother's mitochondrial DNA.
Y-chromosome DNA test-takers in his direct paternal line on WikiTree:
How-79 and Howe-153 appear to represent the same person because: Same person with two spellings. Interchange of Howe and How spellings is common in the family, but for standardization, Howe is the preferred spelling.
Howe-1098 and Howe-153 appear to represent the same person because: Elisha Howe is the son of Samuel Howe, birth date unknown. The key difference between the two Elisha Howe's is that one is listed as the son of his first wife in 1680. The second is listed as the son of his second wife in 1687. Establishing which version is correct is unlikely, but they are still the same person. I think these should be merged into one record, and the uncertainties of birth date and motherhood acknowledged.
